June 29-30, 2019 Bitterroot 300K

Bitterroot 300K Cycling Race

This is a beautiful ride with plenty of resources to choose from along the route and even more information if you do a google search.  Ride it as fast as you want and or break it up and bikepack (camp) along the route (See Trip Plan Below).

Starting in Plummer, Idaho at the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's - Trail Head and ride the entire loop ending in St. Maries.  It is possible to ride HWY 5 back to Heyburn Park from St. Maries and rejoin the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's but this section will have traffic with a narrow shoulder so we are not making that a part of the timed ride.

Helpful Resources:Plummer - Benowah Market - Food Harrison - Cycle Haus - Food, Coffee, Bike Shop Enaville - Snake Pit - Restaurant Kellogg - Excelsior - Bike Shop Wallace - BlackBoard Cafe - Restaurant Lookout Pass - Tickets for Hiawatha Trail Avery - Store / Motel Calder - Store, Restaurant St. Maries - Taco Shack Kevin at The Pines Motel will offer a free shuttle with one night stay, which is what we are planning on doing Sunday Night to get back to the Trail to avoid riding on the HWY.
